"Life's a journey, not a destination"

So goes Ralph Waldo Emerson's famous quote. Or was it Steven Tyler from Aerosmith who coined this phrase? Whoever it was who came up with it first, it's true. Then again, if you stay in one place all the time, what kind of journey is it? I consider myself lucky to have travelled extensively, both for business and for pleasure, to many parts of the world. And yet, there are so many more places I'd like to visit. The moon is literally up there on my list. But until it becomes feasible (and affordable) to travel that far, I shall be content to journey across this planet we call home.

About Me

I was born on the Mediterranean island of Malta in 1961. Like all islanders around the globe, as a child I often stood at the edge of the shore, looking out across the vast blue sea, wondering what lies beyond the horizon.
